About

At Igara Studio we want to develop software tools which enable new forms of creation, with innovative user experiences for artists and gamedevs. We want to merge entertainment concepts with creative tools.

Why "igara"?

Our grandfather had Croatian heritage (when Croatia was part of Yugoslavia). He was a great mechanic and a "jack of all trades" kind of man. We always admired his ingenuity. That's why we wanted to pay tribute to him in some way.

In Croatian, "igara" means "of games" or "about games." For example, like in "game theory" (teorija igara) or "game designer" (dizajner igara). It fits perfectly for our studio and sounds good in Spanish, as we're a company based in Argentina.
